Bridal Accessories
Ok, the name of my blog is Maine Made, Mostly so I can get away with this one. These are so stunning I could not help but show them to you. They were created by Carellya and can be found on Etsy
These 50-something best friends live in Jerusalem and have a way with vintage lace. After raising their families and finishing their careers, they are now having the time of their lives creating unique designs using vintage lace, beads and pearls. Their Etsy shop is full of delightful, magical accessories for the Bride. The lace embroidery is breathtaking!
I have to warn you that going to this shop could cause a ringing in your ears, a craving for cake and a desire to rent a hall!

Stunning Glassware

Gorgeous Glassware
While tripping around Etsy looking for gift ideas, I spotted these amazing glasses! They would be perfect for a winter wedding or New Years Eve. So then I began looking around this shop and here are some of the things I found.

Here is the Bio from the shop:
Thank you for taking an interest in our Daydreem Designs. "This shop is created by Michael and Aimee. Many people would say that Michael has dreamt of being considered an artist all his life. With the love and support from family and his fiance' Aimee, this dream has become reality. Basically self taught in all areas of his work. Pens and pencils is where everything started, then came airbrushing and murals. Portraits, glass engraving, and wood carving soon followed. Extreme satisfaction from creating works of art for other people is the only gratification needed. Custom Orders are always welcome and keep us very busy. Absolutely everything is and always will be created by hand."
The glassware is absolutely astounding and so well crafted you won’t want to part with them although they would make magnificent gifts. I have asked my Santa for something from this shop!

Handmade Hardwood Clocks
Divella Delights is proud to announce the addition of handmade hardwood clocks and Commemorative Plaques by David Jacques.
David takes great care in the workmanship of his clocks and Commemorative plaques. He has been hard at work for the past 2 years perfecting his scroll saw art and finding his niche. Many hours are spent in his home shop in Waterville, Maine cutting, sanding, buffing, and sanding some more.
David was in the US Air Force for 10 years and has worked at the VA in Maine for almost that long. After raising his 2 children literally on his own since they were 2 and 4,David has allowed himself the luxury of a hobby that has developed into quite an art.
The commemorative plaques are done by special order as they are personalized and they too can be made into clocks. He has done several commissioned pieces for some of his fellow Veterans that honor their time in service. He has also done some plaques for anniversaries and graduations or you can have your favorite sports team. These are really a special gift, especially for someone who has everything.
David has developed a passion for miniature clocks and I just love them. They are just perfect for your desk, shelf, dresser or bookcase and make a lovely gift for your favorite teacher, boss, admin or college student. Most of them measure around 6 inches high and 3.5 to about 6 inches wide.
He uses only fine hardwoods (unless requested) and pays close attention to every detail.
His work can be seen, ordered and/or purchased at www.divelladelights.com

WEDDING JEWELRY
I am so excited! I was commissioned to bejewel an entire wedding party at the request of one of the jewelers I wholesale to. Her niece is gettting married so she requested that I make jewelry for the Bride, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride. The Bride wanted something simple, just pearls and sterling with some Swarovski. I have made other, more dramatic Bridal sets but this was the first time I was actually asked to do the jewelry for the Bridal party. The nicest part is that I was able to give them exactly what they wanted and stay well within budget. I made 2 of the 3 strand necklaces with pearls for the Bridesmaids, the Maid of honor is the peach gemstone using Peach Moonstone and the Mother of the Bride wanted greens. Hers was the hardest to match but everything turned out wonderful and I am looking forward to
photos of the big day!
